What makes the “Hazy Breaks” pack special?

The entire pack has a really nice dark, lo-fi and organic feeling - like it could have been lifted straight off of vintage vinyl! Late-Night, downtempo beatmakers, hip hoppers, trip hoppers and lo-fi study beat producers will seriously love these 161 All-New sounds!

Not only are the drums "uber-vibey" and packed with loads of character, the real-played guitar chords are a definite stand-out in this collection as well. You get a good variety of real electric and acoustic guitar hits including distorted, clean and effected.

Also included are several real-played flute and trumpet one-shots that sound amazing when you add a little of Play's reverb to them!

The synth sounds are absolutely dreamy, lazy and perfect for making your own chords with if you can spare the tracks in your patterns. Speaking of chords, the chord shots are really special too, I created them with a secret new recipe and used some bit crushing to get them nice and lo-fi. 12bit, 10bit and even 8bit minor chords with lots of 7ths for that extra jazzy spice!

I spent a LOT of time crafting the Hazy Breaks drum sounds: The kicks are deep, powerful and so phat. The snares are cripsy, tight and so punchy. The claps are perfectly varied - from tight (in your face) claps, to laid back and chilled (loose hip-hop style) claps. The hats are distinctive and soulful.

5 new BeatFill patterns are also included!

These will work with ALL of my other sample packs for the Play and the factory kits, too!

All of the sounds in the pack have been very carefully created, selected and curated, NO FILLER.

All sounds have been individually EQ'd, gently compressed and otherwise creatively processed to be as "ready-to-use" as possible!

FORMAT: The pack is in the exact same format as my other packs for the Play. This is the same format as the factory content - and will work with all of the Play’s “Beat Randomize” and scale features!

ALL Melodic Sounds/Chords/Instruments have a root note of "C".
