Until the new Firmware 1.5 update, making your own chord progressions on the Digitakt has been quirky and unituitive. With the Dreamy Keys pack, though - it's super easy to choose a pattern/chord progression that you like, change the sound to your taste and resample the whole thing back into the Digitakt to slice up and re-sequence using the new slice machine. Using this method, it's extremely easy to make some variations of your chord progressions as well - Resample a few different variations to add more depth in your tracks.

The Keys samples were recorded from various hardware and software synths, and lovingly processed with a wealth of different lo-Fi effects including vinyl simulators and cassette simulators, etc. Many of the Keys sounds have some nice vinyl crackle and subtle tape wobble baked right in to the sound.

So, while this pack is in the “LOOPS” section for Digitakt, it does not contain any loops - it’s purpose to help you make your own custom keys loops, by using the RESAMPLE FEATURE.
